I'm sure that die-hard Beatles fans will love it, but this wasn't for me or my teenage sons (who have little to no knowledge of their music). On the plus side, there's a amazing collection of memorabilia, and all the information boards are translated to English. However, it's quite a passive experience that felt like looking through a collection with no real explanation of what was important and why. Overall, it only captured our attention for about 20 mins and seemed very over-priced for what it was.
15€ were definitely too much for this museum. I am not a hardcore Beatles fan but i hoped for more. It was not pretty interesting and mostly just a shop were you could buy something. I would not recommend it.
Largest Beatles Museum in the world. Owner has authored 85 books on The Beatles. Thousands of Beatles memorabilia. Original recording machine from Abbey Road Studio. €15 entrance fee. Short train ride from Amsterdam. Closed Monday. Well worth it to go and see.
It is an amazing museum with huge collection of Beatles disks, history, books , photos and many other interesting items. If you will be lucky enough, you will meet Azing - the owner of the museum and a real treasure and wikipedia of Beatles..
Waw guys that was really a beautiful experience. The museum is big and there are so many rare things to see. Just think that only one collector did everything himself. Azing the founder of the museum is a surprising person, source of many news on the Beatles. You could be inspired by him.
I really recommend to go, take a trip to the museum, it's amazing! and you have there a super nice souvenir shop as well.
Fantastic place, the owner is very nice and passionate about the Beatles, you can really see this is a labor of love. Features a lot of very obscure memorabilia and releases of Beatles albums that are very interesting to look at. I very much recommend it!
That was very cool. I thought maybe I could be able to buy the real ringo starr there.. kinda disappointed.
It was still amazing though.
Brilliant experience. The owner Azing really knows his music.
